Kitchen and Bathroom Project for Jamie and Adam

Recently, we took on an exciting house refurbishment project for Jamie and Adam, which was featured on Channel 4 Lifestyle. The Challenge

Jamie and Adam had purchased a house in London that was on the brink of falling apart. The property had numerous issues, including:
  • A tired and shattered exterior.
  • PVC windows that were taped to prevent leaks.
  • Cracked walls and outdated interiors.
Additionally, the kitchen and dining areas were cramped and in desperate need of modernisation.

Our Plan

To achieve their vision, we focused on:

  1. Opening Up the Space: Knock down the load-bearing wall between the kitchen and dining room to create a modern kitchen-diner, complete with a stunning breakfast bar. This required fitting an RSJ (Rolled Steel Joist) for structural support.
  2. Transforming the Kitchen and Bathroom: Completely refurbish both areas to maximise functionality and aesthetics, bringing a modern, stylish touch to the home.

The Transformation

  • Ripped out the old kitchen, bathroom, and dining room.
  • Reconfigured the kitchen and dining area into a bright, open-plan space perfect for socialising.
  • Installed a modern, fully refurbished bathroom with elegant fixtures and fittings.

We stayed ahead of schedule, ensuring every detail was perfectly executed to achieve a sleek and cohesive design.

The Results

The final transformation was nothing short of spectacular. Here’s what we accomplished:
  • A spacious, light-filled kitchen-diner with a stylish breakfast bar and ample room for entertaining.
